Sorry. I know it's been a while since I've posted. When I get into my writing, I kind of go into my own little world and forget to update. So, here's the update. There are a couple of things I'm super excited about.
First, My Future Is Sealed, the third installment of Sealed With a Kiss, will be available for purchase on May 1st. You will be able to pre-order the eBook on Kindle soon. I'll update again with a link as soon as the pre-order is live. I have to say, it's been a crazy ride with Zoe and Elijah, and I love the way their story has turned out. I feel like they've written a lot of it for me, because a lot of what ended up happening was definitely not in the original concept for this series (which was actually originally going to only be two books, but somehow turned into three). Of the three books, I like this one the best. And I love the journey Zoe's taken and the person she becomes.
Second, I've loved the adventure I've taken with Zoe and Elijah so much that I just can't let them go yet. So, I'm going to expand on something I did probably about six months ago as a character building exercise. When I was trying to get into Elijah's head a little bit and figure out why he would have done what he did, letting himself get involved with Zoe at all, I wrote one of the chapters of My Lips Are Sealed from his point of view. And I discovered that I liked it. I liked him. He's flawed, he's witty (though a lot of times only in his mind--one of those guys who doesn't always come up with the perfect comeback right away, but thinks of it like thirty seconds too late), and he's dark and troubled. He sees something in Zoe that he connects with, and he gets caught up in it and in her. But he's torn about it. Torn between what he believes is right and what his heart wants. Obviously, we already know which one wins. But even in that one chapter that I wrote, I learned a lot about him. And I wanted to learn more. So I've decided to write a version of that book from his point of view. I'm not sure if I'll do the whole series yet. I don't know how different I can really make the second two books from Zoe's version, and I definitely don't want my readers to feel like they're just reading the same story. But I already have a lot of ideas for his side of the first book, and a title for it: My Fate Is Sealed. Release is still TBD. I've only gotten a few chapters in so far, but I'm having a blast getting to know him (and Beth) better.
So, anyway, exciting stuff is happening! I can't wait for you guys to read My Future Is Sealed, and to get to know Elijah a little better when he's ready for you to. :-) In the meantime, make sure to catch up by buying My Lips Are Sealed and My Heart Is Sealed on Kindle (and the free Kindle app, available for Apple and Android) or in paperback, or reading them with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.
