After I literally just said in my last blog post that I was going to get better about updating this blog, guess what I did? Yep, I let it slide again. So much so that I didn't even post when My Fate Is Sealed went up for sale. Sorry about that. So, yeah, go get your copy of My Fate Is Sealed if you don't already have it. It's probably the most fun I've had writing a book so far and I'm pretty proud of it. I'm so happy to finally have been able to introduce Elijah to the world. He's a pretty special character and I loved getting to know him better so much.
But there's a lot more happening. Namely, after realizing that having my books exclusively on Amazon and in the Kindle Unlimited program severely limited my ability to share my books with readers overseas, I decided to pull them out of the Kindle Unlimited program so that I could have more control over who has access to my books. What does this mean for you? It means that you don't have to have an Amazon account or a Kindle (or the Kindle app) to get my books. You can now get them on Kobo, iBooks, Nook (Barnes and Noble) and a bunch of other sites. So, because of the number of stores my books are now available on, the links in the sidebar and the links I'll put in my posts from now on are going to be universal links through a site called Books 2 Read. Basically, it's just a website that lists all of the places the books are available. You can set your preferred site to wherever you buy your e-books from, and then whenever you click on a Books 2 Read link, it'll take you right to that site instead of to their site.
Also, I've started a reader's group on Facebook, where you can come talk about Zoe, Elijah, and their friends (or about any other good books that you've read--I love getting new book recommendations) and where we can all hang out and get to know each other. I'm really looking forward to getting to know some of my readers there. So head on over there and check it out! The only way a Facebook group is any fun is if there are people there to make it fun. That's where you come in.
I've also started a monthly author newsletter. I promise, I won't spam you. It'll just be a once-a-month thing to let you know what I'm up to and to give you a look at what some of my other romance author friends are doing too! Check out the link in the sidebar to subscribe. And if you do, you'll get Our Christmas Is Sealed, an exclusive free novella about Zoe and Elijah's first Christmas in New York, which you can only get through the newsletter. While it is a Christmas story, there's a lot more to it than just that. And I feel some other bonus scenes or novelettes coming on for my subscribers with future new releases too.
Speaking of future new releases, I've also decided to try something different with future releases and make a limited number of Advanced Reader Copies available through Booksprout for review before the release date, so you can read them and tell me what you think on Amazon, Goodreads, etc. So make sure you follow me on Booksprout (see the link on the sidebar) to get alerted when I post new ARCs there.
...And that leads me to a quick update on My Bonds Are Sealed, River and Mason's story. I'm probably about 2/3 of the way done with this book and I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of February. I am SO excited for you guys to meet River and Mason, I can hardly stand it. They're turning into such amazing characters and they're taking this story in a direction I never would have imagined. You won't want to miss the opportunity to get an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and review it, trust me! So go head on over to Booksprout to stay up to date!
Whew! That was long. Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone! And I promise, my resolution for the coming year is to keep this blog more up to date so you don't get treated to another novella the next time I post.
